To Bill Pador Photography. I've been pushing a shutter button for over 30 years since the day I found my parents Polaroid camera loaded with a brand new cartridge of film and began capturing the beautiful world around me as a child. After pulling the backing off the first picture and seeing that I could freeze time and capture the images my eyes were seeing, not only was I amazed, but I was HOOKED !Over the years I have continued my education by taking numerous courses, reading & studying everything I can get my hands on about the art of photography and more importantly shooting hundreds of thousands of photographs. During an average week I usually shoot 1500-2000 photographs and when on assignment that doubles or triples.
As an artist there is nothing that brings you more joy then to see others enjoy your work, that's why we do it. I am driven by the pure thought of having someones emotions & thoughts being moved by a millisecond in time that has been captured using my skills and artistry.
I spent over 16 years of my adult life as a Police Officer from 1985-2002 until I became Disabled after being seriously Wounded in the Line of duty suffering a spinal injury that required me to give up my life long dream of being a cop, but I survived & can walk on my own so that's what is important to me now. I have always been an artist during my life as a musician, painter & photographer but my passion for photography has always been on top and I am driven by a fire inside me to continue capturing the world around me 1/100th of a second at a time. The art of photography is very special to my heart and I hope that you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
I'm a Proud Member of the 'Professional Photographers Association of America' along with belonging to various International photography organizations such a LightStalkers, Photo.net, United States Nikonians Group, Photolog and many more where I continue my education along with teaching photography on a daily basis to keep up with all the modern techniques, trends and equipment. I do all of my own Digital Darkroom post processing and Artistic Creations 'IN HOUSE' using the finest digital processing equipment, software, computers and techniques available.
I am an Award Winning Photographer & My work can been viewed all over the Internet. I have been published in numerous media formats such as Newspapers, The American Police Hall of Fame magazine and most recently I Was recently Nominated as '2007 Photographer of the Year' & Awarded the 'Editors Choice Award' by the ISP & International Library of Photography. My work is being Published Internationally in a Photography montage coffee book in the winter of 2008 & have also won & placed in the top 10 in numerous photography contests from all over the world.
I continue to be very active in the world wide online photographers community where I volunteer my time to teach & give advice to armature photographers

Being able to provide my clients with the very best quality imagery is always my goal and with the addition of the NEW Nikon D-300, image quality has just been raised to new heights. My IN HOUSE Post Production facility is State of the Art & now complete with the addition of Nikon's Award winning "Capture NX" software joined with my all star line up of the highest grade Post Production software & computer equipment on the market today.
My High Tech Digital Darkroom lab consists of all the major software packages available to include the latest versions of:
* PHOTOSHOP CS3

* Paint Shop PRO X2 Photo
* CAPTURE ONE

If that's not enough, Thousands of dollars of the finest Filters & Plug-In packages accompany these software tools such as:
* Nik's Award winning "COLOR EFEX PRO 3.0"
* "ALIEN SKIN EXPOSURE 2.0"
along with over 2 dozen other filtering systems like "onONE", "DIGITAL FILM TOOLS" & "Imagenomic" plug ins.
* PRECISION EDITING: Detailed editing is accomplished using a professional WACOM Digital Tablet & Stylus to enable modification of the smallest detail down to a single pixel.
* MONITOR CALIBRATION: I use a "Spyder 3 Express" Monitor Calibration tool (Weekly) to ensure precise color evaluation & adjustments on screen that transfers over to the final print on all monitors and a custom "SOFT PRINT" file designed specifically from our print lab to ensure perfect color match from my system to theirs.
* DATA PROTECTION: In case of a mishap where images might be lost or erased by accident while still on the memory cards I have "RESCUE PRO" recovery software in place and is only just a key stroke away to save any lost data and a huge headache.
* SAFETY: There are 10 back ups of every assignment image I shoot once I return to the studio. 5 are on site back-ups - 3 using high volume portable disk drives, another 1 preserved in a fireproof safe and 1 on portable media DVD's after shooting. Then 5 additional OFF-SITE back-ups are created once I have uploaded the images to my business server which are located in 5 different states in the U.S. Back-Ups are performed on a daily basis on all computers & servers so that no data is lost and I always have multiple locations to retrieve any images I need. Safety & Preservation of any work I do is a high priority for me because as anyone that has lost an important file or image knows the sinking feeling you get & it's not a good one. So rest assured every precaution has been taken to ensure my clients memories are well protected for many years to come ! If I'm comfortable knowing that every second caught on film is protected, I know the most important part of my business - "My CLIENTS" can rest easy knowing they are being served by a Dedicated Professional in every sense of the word.

Planning an event such as a Wedding takes months of preparation & stress for a family, so many things going on at once so there is no need to have any additional worries about how it is preserved for future enjoyment, That's MY job. Good communication between Client & Photographer are essential and I will make those moments as stress & worry free as possible leaving more time for FUN and a happy ending to your special story book day!
