*EXTENDED BIOGRAPHY*

Over the years Bill has continues his education by taking hundreds of courses & seminars (*see education below), reading & studying everything he can get his hands on about the art of photography and more importantly shooting hundreds of thousands of photographs. "During an average week I usually shoot 1500-2000 photographs and when on assignment that doubles or triples."

"As an artist there is nothing that brings you more joy then to see others enjoy your work, that's why we do it. I am driven by the pure thought of having someones emotions & thoughts being moved by a millisecond in time that has been captured using my skills and artistry."

Bill spent 16 years of his adult life as a Police Officer from 1985-2002 until he was Disabled after being Seriously Wounded in the Line of Duty suffering a major spinal injury that required numerous surgeries and constant rehabilitation but now lives a semi-normal life and is able to continue his profession as a photographer. "Having to give up my life long dream of being a police officer was a very traumatic event for me to swallow, but I survived with the use of my legs and that's all I care about now". "I have been an artist my entire life as a musician, painter & photographer but my passion for photography has always been on top and I am driven by a fire inside me to continue capturing the world 1/100th of a second at a time. The art of photography is very special to my heart and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it."

Bill is a Proud Active Member of the 'Professional Photographers Association of America' & The "National Association of Photoshop Professionals" along with belonging to many National & International photography organizations such a LightStalkers, Photo.net, The United States Nikonians Group, Photolog and many more where he continues his education along with teaching photography on a daily basis to keep up with all the modern techniques, trends and equipment. "I do all of my own Digital Darkroom post processing and Artistic Creations 'IN HOUSE' using the finest digital processing equipment, software, computers and techniques available. This way my images end up looking the way I intended them to when I shot them"

"Bill's Formal Education"

Shooting since age 12, Bill started his formal education in photography while in high school at age 16 studying basic photography techniques where he was then introduced to 35mm film SLR camera's in 1980. After graduating he continued learning by attending various courses & seminars over vast areas of photography along with taking hundreds of thousands of images while imploring those techniques after being introduced to digital camera's around 1997 which lowered the cost of practicing down to nothing. Shooting landscape, portraits & still life, Bill became very interested in shooting images using various light sources instead of using a simple flash or the sun and started to build his own custom light stages & still life platforms to experiment on the effects of how light affects certain images & situations thus becoming an Expert in the manipulation of light & unique angles to propel himself to a much higher level of creative photography. For this reason Bill has become a highly sought after photographer & artist by demanding clients seeking his unique style of photographic lighting and use of digital software. Knowing how to use light is the key to great photos and Bill has created & mastered his own unique style of capturing light on various platforms propelling his images into a unique category setting him apart from other photographers.

"Joe McNally"

("Bill's all time Favorite Instructor") Joe is an Internationally acclaimed photographer from the United States and a long time photojournalist. Joe was LIFE magazine's staff photographer, the first one in 23 years. His most well known works was a series he did called 'Faces of Ground Zero', a giant polaroid collection documenting the 9/11 tragedy and was exhibited in 7 cities in 2002 which was seen by over a million people. Joe is known worldwide for his expert use of color & lighting and the ability to complete the most technically & logistically complex assignments. McNally has won numerous awards to include the prestigious Alfred Eisenstadt award for outstanding magazine photography along with Picture of the Year International and the World Press Foundation Award in 1997 placing 1st in Portraits. McNally was 1 or only 10 photographers to be selected worldwide to work on the promotion of the 2008 Beijing Olympic games.

Another favorite instructor of Bill's, Kelby is an internationally known & award winning photographer, designer & author along with being the EDITOR & PUBLISHER of 'Photoshop User' & 'Layers' magazines and the President & Co_founder of the *NAPP* National Association of Photoshop Professionals. Kelby has the distinction of being the #1 best selling author of ALL computer & Technology books across all categories. He has also won the prestigious Benjamin Franklin Award.

Ziser is an internationally-renowned & award winning wedding photographer who was described as "wedding photographer extraordinaire." by the Dallas Morning News and is 1 of only 97 photographers worldwide to hold the highest honor of "FELLO" bestowed to him by the American Society of Photographers.

* DATA PROTECTION: In case of a mishap where images might be lost or erased by accident while still on the memory cards "RESCUE PRO" recovery software is in place and is only just a key stroke away to save any lost data and a huge headache. Safety of my clients images is taken very seriously to ensure their memories are safe & sound for years to come.

* IMAGE SAFETY & Back-Up: Presently Data is stored on over *4* Tiga-Bites of Hard Drive Space in house. There are 8-10 back ups of every assignment image I shoot once I return to the studio. 5 are on site back-ups - 3 using high volume portable disk drives, another 1 preserved in a fireproof safe and 1 on portable media DVD's after shooting. Then 5 additional OFF-SITE back-ups are created once I have uploaded the images to my business server which are located in 5 different states scattered across the U.S.A. Back-Ups are performed on a daily basis on all computers & servers so that no data is lost and I always have multiple locations to retrieve any images I need. "Safety & Preservation of any work I do is a high priority for me because as anyone that has lost an important file or image knows the sinking feeling you get & it's not a good one". So rest assured every precaution has been taken to ensure my clients memories are well protected for many years to come ! If I'm comfortable knowing that every second caught on film is protected, I know the most important part of my business - "My CLIENTS" can rest easy knowing they are being served by a Dedicated Professional in every sense of the word.
