PHOTO OF THE DAY was started so that I could share my art with you all and to show how many different things you see all day the can be captured as photos and be interesting. Any Photo I take during the day can make it here for your viewing pleasure along with a little description of how the capture came about. Feel free to leave comments on each photo good or bad, I read every comment personally each day and appreciate your time. A Rusty old railroad spike that held some interesting rust patterns & color to it, it's actually a pretty small spike around 5" long and about 1" around but by using a low angle shot and getting within 2" of the lens glass and 1:1 magnification and great Bokeh of the backdrop it looks huge.
