Bill Pador > I wanted to do something different with a sunset tonight so I played around making this one a little different by adding an artificial fog cover and then lifting it off the page with a gradient background, drop shadow and ghost frame. I adjusted the contrast & curve, did some selective dodging & burning and a few other touch ups to finish this one off.

Have a happy hump day (Wed.) everyone!

Bill Pador > This set of stairs leads up from the Hudson River in Weehawking NJ just across from the Empire State Building and just below the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel. I took this image because I liked the angels the stairs formed and the depth given to it by the trees and small arch on the wall. After I got home and process the image I really wasn't happy with it at all. It lacked PUNCH and didn't turn out the way I had hoped UNTIL I went ahead & processed it in B&W and added some grain to it, NOW it has punch and kinda has a nice Conflicting look of an old building and arch design in the background with modern architect stair design & the small amount of graffiti at the top of the stairs completes the image. Now I'm happy if not thrilled with it
