1 of 5 images of NY City @ Night

Hi folks, sorry about the MIA status here at the dailies but I've been having some medical problems with my back again and haven't been feeling well at all and in a lot of pain. But I did manage to get out and shoot a few images of the NY City Sky line with my new Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II wide angle lens in the EARLY morning hrs. to show you how good this lens is for $449 and so glad I bought this one for my lens line up. This is a great addition to my gear bag and can't wait to use it at some parties and weddings. It's something that has been lacking in my bag for the last few months and wanted to add something like this for my tight shots in the dark. You can notice how SHARP it is (see X-Large images please). I have added 5 images to today's line up so please look at them all for a good look at this lens. they are all basically SOTC with only basic sharpening work flow added. All shot on tri-pod at around 4-5am when it was D-A-R-K out and you can see how nice the light is brought out along with some awesome light glare features. No additional filters were used, this is pure lens with not even a UV filter on the lens !!! "All shot from the Weehawkin Pier"

"Please check out all 5 images X-LARGE !!!"
PS: Just to the right of this image the recovery of the midair collision of the helicopter & airplane over the Hudson is taking place but I couldn't get close enough to get accurate shots nor did I think it proper. . . .

Have a Great Day and Miss you All

PS: This image has become a HOT Seller selling over 10 copies in the last 2 weeks since I posted it. To any one purchasing a copy I "Recommend" having it printed in the 10" x 20" format ONLY since it is the only print size my lab has available to get the most out of the Panoramic crop that I have used. When you come to the CROP section of the sale bring your crop area to the LEFT and cut out the dead space on the right so you get the most out of the city scape. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at billpadorphotos@gmail.com or call the studio direct at (973) 208-1585 and I'll help you the best I can. I also get a notice of each sale before they are printed and if I see that the crop area is not in the right place I will adjust it prior to it being printed & shipped to you.

Captured as the sun rises over NY City facing Jersey City NJ from Battery Park. The golden light reflecting off the mirrored windows into the Hudson River was just gorgeous to witness,
