Bill Pador > "The HORSE TRAIN" (Limited Edition Print Available) Well looks like I had a 'HAPPY ACCIDENT' today. This is my version of a HORSE TRAIN LOL. I didn't realize I had this shot until I got into the dark room and when I saw it I said "Wow that is so cool looking, I could do a lot with this shot". The illusion of a 2 bodied horse with 1 head. This is NOT a Photo Shop trick, other then some color mapping, curves adjustment, selective dodging & burning, the selective coloring to let the natural eye color show and framing not much else has been done to this image. The second horse was following so closely as they walked toward me and he must have dipped his head right at the moment I fired the shutter it just happened that way. It's always nice to see something in the dark room you didn't know you captured and I just call them Happy Accidents (which I THINK I stole from the famous oil painter BOB ROSS *RIP*) The horses are actually different shades of brown so in color the effect just didn't do it justice but when I applied my own custom filter which is a mixture of a Black & White effect and a brownish AGED effect it really set the capture off to what I was looking for. I only use this effect on certain photos but I'm going to start using it more as it is pretty much one of my signature looks and I really like the results on the right image, this is a prime example of one of them.
