Bill Pador > "Coming To an End"
Well the Fall Colors have treated me very well this year. It was a very exciting & productive season for color hunting and my successful trips day after day are now coming to an end. The leafs are falling from the tress faster then ever after a strong 10 day period where they were in full swing. Now as I look around they seem to be disappearing as fast as the clock hands sweep around every 60 minutes, bringing the dreaded winter months closer & closer. I still have a TON of images to process from my outings but they will get put into my Fall Colors Gallery soon. I wanted to do it yesterday but a last minute client booked a session that took me all day & not to process for gift purposes and my clients come first so I stayed up until 4am completing the job of processing over 800 images from the shoot.

This shot comes from a spot around the corner from my home again and I liked the way the colors blended with the nice blue sky. Very little processing was involved, regular sharpening and a re-size is about all involved here.

I hope you all enjoyed my Fall Color presentation this year and I look forward to grabbing some nice winter snow & ice scenes this year. I have a few SECRET spots I scouted during the summer so hopefully they pan out with some good images this year.

Have a Great Day Everyone !

This Macro was shot on my way out to the driveway for the morning paper and didn't want it to go to waste. I saw the morning rain drops on the branch and saw the entire bush & my car being reflected into the single rain drop so I shot it. Take a look top center on the leave and see if you can spot the water droplet that looks like a duck face ;)

Bill Pador > "Those Eyes"
details best seen @ size X3
While walking through my kids TV room last night I noticed a great beam of natural sunlight coming through the front window as the sun was going down and then saw my daughter Alexa's eyes catching the light as well. So I made her get off the couch (I know I'm a terrible Dad LOL) and had her stare out of the window. I should have went to get my 50mm Nikkor or 90mm Tamron for this Portrait to get a sharper image but I was lazy and stuck with the 18-200 VR that was on the body but I think it did a fine job, impressed me really. When seen as large as possible you can see each individual eye lash reflected on her retina, pretty cool!

I then hit this with my normal Portraiture work flow & slight glamour treatment, removed a bunch of small hairs in between the nose, shaped her brows and did some very minor burning to bring out her cheek bone a little bit and that's it. The shadow is all natural just using proper exposure settings and shooting tight to prevent any of the background in the room from showing. Alexa's eyes are usually a nice blue but she was wearing a purple shirt which turns them a wild greenish aqua blue seen here. She's my favorite model and loves to have her photo taken so we both make out on the deal whenever I want to do a portrait to keep my skills sharp ;) I like this one so much I'll be ordering it in a large format lustre print or possibly a canvas to hang on my office wall! ~I just love my kids ~
Hope you all like it, Have a Great Day everyone !

Bill Pador > "Farmland 1"
7/13/08
I spent the day driving up to High Point NJ for a private photo shoot and stopped at this farm along the way to capture this beautiful rolling hills scene. The weather was perfect, a balmy 88' & partly cloudy. I'll post up some more of my captures tomorrow in my over flow gallery but for now enjoy this one for what it is, a part of New Jersey most folks never get to see and never think of my state having this type of landscapes.

PS: There's been some inquire as to PP on this and my other Rolling Farmland image, there is only simple Dodging & Buring in the clouds to bring them out a bit THAT'S IT! The deep colors are the result of using a circular polarizer & the natural colors of the landscape. Thanks ~Bill~

Some other shots from my journey today are in this gallery as well to make up for the few days I was behind.

You can see some of the images I took at a car show I stopped at in my daily over flow gallery here: http://billpador.smugmug.com/gallery/5243214_M8SAm/1/331258393_TZfoQ
Bill Pador > A naturally lit leaf catching the sunlight in mid morning sun through my front window, hey I can't come up with great shots EVERYDAY ya know LOL I just liked the colors with this one having that slight red leaf above and a dash of yellow below.
