Bill Pador > I set out over to the mall tonight to shoot the sunset which is usually pretty spectacular there for some reason. It has a nice mountain range behind it in the west and I have a favorite spot with no parking lot lights in my way. This shot was set up with a custom white balance with a kelvin around 10,000. Shot so as to silhouette the stores in front of the mountain that can be seen sometimes. Then into CS3 to tweak the colors, do some creative burning and then added several layers of vignettes and then created the custom framing.

Thanks for all the well wishes & welcoming back. I'm feeling much much better, 100% in fact and have been enjoying life again. As long as my creative mind is cranking I always feel like a million bucks because it allows me to relax & enjoy the thing I like doing most and that's shooting frames and creating my art work. Hope you all enjoy the image and Thank You again for the warm welcome back ;)

Bill Pador > "End of August Sunset"
While out for a walk in my neighborhood last night hunting for a POD I was striking out capturing anything worth while UNTIL I took a turn toward home and saw the sun setting at the end of the street above the ball park. So I headed towards the light and by the time I got there this is what greeted me. I really liked the small blazing orange hole silhouetting the trees and the light rays springing out along the horizon. Funny how this cloud formation was only on the horizon where the sun was setting because there wasn't another cloud in the whole sky elsewhere.

I thought it fitting to end the month of August with a beautiful sunset image to get ready for Septembers fall colors. Hopefully the trees will present some interesting colors again this year since it's my favorite time of the year to shoot out door landscapes.

Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday weekend, enjoy your labor day and all of your end of year BBQ's. Me, I'll be home alone looking for the next POD drinking a nice cup of coffee! ~Thanks for looking~
