Bill Pador > Happy Mothers Day to all you mothers out there.

I spotted this wild flower field the other day while picking up my daughter from school so I stopped yesterday to grab some shots. The hills of New Jersey have filled with color & lush forest now.

Then last night while driving on Rt.# 80 I grabbed a beautifully colored sky thet I've also added to my gallery since I'm a few days behind. It can be seen BY CLICKING HERE

Have a Wonderfful Day All

Bill Pador > Yea it's Friday ! The weather here in NJ is absolutely marvelous in the high 70's today with Sat. & Sun supposed to be close to 90' ! This is very welcome weather and I'm very happy about it so I figured I'd post a wild looking cloud formation I shot by our local mall with storm clouds at the bottom and fluffy cotton ball couds on top..

I have a sweet 16 party to work tomorrow night but I'll try to get out on Sunday to get some landscape shots. I've been so busy lately and along with not feeling well to get out and do some quality shooting so hopefully this weekend will provide some nice shooting conditions. Funny thing after I posted my lightning shot I got an email from my mom who told me I'd better be more careful LOL Nothing like being 44 yo and still getting yelled out by your mom, don't ya just love it LOL. Glad you all liked the lightning shot, I certainly enjoyed shooting it right up untill it got a little too real for me. Have a great weekend everyone !

Bill Pador > This is an Original UNTOUCHED version of this shot I took for my Daily Gallery to show what a BEFORE & AFTER post processing of a photo looks like and the wonderful work some of the software I have can do (well along with my knowledge of HOW to use the software as well LOL). But it has always amazed me at how much you can really do to a photo with the right software and techniques. For a quick run down on what was done to make this image good enough to post, see the main Daily December Gallery image here:

Bill Pador > "Peek A Boo Doe"
I spotted this doe across the street from my friends house and luckily I had my camera right on the floor of the car. It was pretty dark out so I had to shoot this at ISO 1250 SS 1/80 f/5.6 and it was still pretty dark when I went to post with it. Lightroom 2 was used to adjust the Exposure up 1.50 steps along with tone curve. Then off to CS3 where I adjusted Curve, Sharpness and hit it with a healthy does of Imagenomic Noise-ware Professional. There were also some nasty looking tree branches in front of both the trees here that needed to be cloned out along with a wheel barrel just in front of the deers front legs that I also cloned out. To finalize the effect I went into Pro Frames to give it that jagged finish and then into Pro Tools to add the tan block frame. (*Total time about 20 min.)

* If your interested in how much work was done to make this image look this good take a look at the ORGINAL shot here in my Extras Gallery: (*PS-There are also 17 new additions to my Extras Gallery I posted in there last week that have never been seen before as well)

Bill Pador > I chose this shot for it's light, DOF & Movement elements. When I set out for the days shot I had 2 main requirements for the assignment I wanted to concentrate on, Capture good natural light & shadows and utilize good intelligent DOG to it's maximum potential no matter what I was shooting. With this image I think I accomplished fo-filling the rules of the shoot and it had some nice color saturation & movement.

The wind was blowing around 10 knots which made hand held macro shots a challenge to say the least but I wanted to capture SOME movement on my subjects. I saw this unknown plant (I think it's a weed of some sort) that has some really cool looking seeds on the entire plant giving it a nice balance of straight & circular elements to it, it was in a shady part of the field and when the sun popped out it was lit on each end but not in the middle. So I thought it would make a cool image.

I shot this from a weird angle laying on the ground and twisting the camera around so that I had all green vegetation behind it for some cool bokeh, not knowing how cool it would turn out with the light / dark shades around it giving it good contrast. It was shot using my Tamron 90mm Di f/2.8 1:1 Macro lens with the following settings:
SS: 1/125
AP: f/4.0
EComp: - .03
ISO: 100
WB: Sunny

Bill Pador > "Shades of the Yellow Lady Bug"
Hi everyone, I had a wonderful day today spending most of it out doors shooting everything in site. I have so many wonderful images from today it was really tough to decide which one I wanted to post. I went with this Yellow Lady Bug image because of the great light & shadows captured in it and I was just over joyed with the overal results on this one. There has been NO PP done except my usual unsharp mask that is done to every image and that's it!

I saw this yellow lady bug buzzing around a group of wild flowers in a field I was in and watched to see where she would land. Well she ended up in this beautiful shadowy/sun lit area of the flowers and I was ready with the Tamron 90mm Macro for this one. I was so happy with the results out of camera I just had to leave it alone.

Hope you all have a wonderful day today !

Bill Pador > "Momma on Watch"
Hello all, Before I begin with my post I'm going to admit that what you see here is the result of pure luck & a LOT of post production work and the reason is that this image started off as a dark blob unable to see anything but a few light spots. I saw these deer across the street from my best friends house as I walked to my car. It was pretty dark out and I knew that without using flash the chances of capturing this was near impossible BUT I took my shot in a HURRY to try and capture it before they ran off.

I used what settings I had up on the camera which was 1/100 @ f/5.6 ISO 800. It came out DARK oh so Dark and I got 6 frames off before they split the scene, all worthless, I thought!. I said to myself "Well I blew that" especially after looking at the LCD and seeing NOTHING. Well I got home to the dark room and started to work some CS3 magic. After bumping the exposure up +6.25 stops Yes I said 6.25 LOL & adjusting the gamma & offset a bit I was able to recover some of the image but it looked like hell. So I decided to fall back on my old rescue stand by and headed off into the B&W direction, ultimately settling on this Sepia tone using NIK "Silver Efex Pro", some custom shaped vignette and the outline frame. I'm glad I was able to recover so much of the data and create a semi-decent image of a mamma deer watching over her fawns while they ate from it.

Well that's my story and I'm glad I was able to recover it from the brink of trash can hell, at least I was able to pull my daily off and not have a totally crap day without one. Thanks for all your support & comments the past few days I really appreciate everyone's time to look at my daily gallery.

Have a good weekend everyone,
~Bill~
Bill Pador > I was on my way out to the deli this morning to get my Favorite breakfast treat (A Double Taylor Ham/Egg/Cheese on a Roll Ummm Ummm Good) when I saw my little buddy here who has lived in my yard for the past 3 years since he was a tiny bunny named "Woo-Dee-Da-Wabbit" and is ALWAYS in the front yard in the morning sitting in the dew covered grass (as seen here) at this time of the morning. So I grabbed the camera and shot a few frames. He's a cutie and is very friendly. I can get within 15' or so before he'll take off but he just stares and likes his photo taken, so say hi to Woo-Dee ;)

Have A Great Day Everyone !

Is mine messed up in your browser too or is it just my end? Thanks for the help ! UPDATE: Seems the problem with horizontal scrolling only happens when I use Firefox Browser, it seems fine when using Internet Explorer 8. Don't know what happened with Firefox though?
